Goku's Transformation till Super Saiyan 3

Hi Dragonball fans,

Do you agree with me that the best part of Dragonball is the transformation into Super Saiyan? One of the reasons why I'm attracted to Dragonball is the impressive power transformation from normal fighter into a Super Saiyan with that golden hairs.. haha. Dragonball Character - Son Gohan

Gohan was named after Goku's adoptive grandfather, Grandpa Gohan. The name, which comes from the Japanese word "gohan" (飯 "cooked rice" or "meal of any sort"), is a continuation of the naming scheme of foods by Toriyama. Rice, being a grain, is not normally considered to be a vegetable, even though it is part of a plant. However, as the word "vegetable" is a culinary term, and not a botanical term, the name can also continue the naming scheme for Saiyan characters, which derives names from puns on vegetables (Saiya being an anagram of the word yasai, meaning "vegetable").

In conceptualizing Gohan's character as a teenager, Toriyama originally included glasses or a jacket to his apparel, and commonly, his hair was not spiked up as seen in the final design. With the ending of the Cell arc, Gohan was meant to replace his father as the main protagonist; Toriyama thought that he was unsuitable for that part so he avoided doing that.

Recently, I passed by a game shop and saw kids playing Dragonball Burst Limit on PS3 and the childhood feeling of seeing dragonball on tv had surged up to me again. Therefore, I went online to search on the following clip to see and share it with every dragonball fans. Dragonball Character - Majin Buu history

Don't know whether you know the actual history of Majin Buu but I have found this short description from wikipedia. Do take a look and see whether you know abt this piece of info or not. Have a good day ahead.


Buu is introduced in the series during the Buu Saga as an innocent looking pudgy pink genie-like creature. Later in the series, it is revealed that Buu's original appearance is that of a sleek, demonic-like child ("The Buu of Pure Evil"), however his nature and form had been altered after he'd assimilated the gentle, pudgy god (Dai kaioshin) into his body. Buu's creator, a wizard named Bibidi, had used Buu to wage war on the Kaioshin. Buu managed to kill two of the five Kaioshin and absorb two others, the second being the one who altered his nature to become innocent. After Bibidi sealed Buu away, Bibidi was killed by the only remaining Kaioshin, and Buu was transported to planet Earth where it lay dormant for five million years until Buu is revived by Bibidi's son Babidi during the events of Dragon Ball and Uub is the pure good, reincarnated version of Kid Buu.

Dragonball Character - Son Goku

Son Goku (孫悟空, Son Gokū, addressed only as Goku in most English adaptations) is a fictional character from the Dragon Ball universe created by Akira Toriyama as the main protagonist for the media franchise. He is based from Sun Wukong, a central character in Journey to the West but Toriyama changed some of his characteristics to be more original. Goku is introduced as an odd, monkey-tailed boy who practices martial arts and possesses superhuman strength. As the story unfolds, he is actually revealed to be from a fictional race of extraterrestrials called Saiyans, said to be the strongest warriors within the fictional universe. Goku also made cameo appearances in Toriyama's self-parody series Neko Majin Z and also starred in all the films, specials and video games from the series.
